I have a 5-year-old Shih Tzu with Cushings. I’ve just started to read about Transfer Factor as it relates to Cushings. Is there a standard in how it’s given (amount, form, etc.) and what to look for in terms of product quality.
Many thanks for any guidance you can provide.
In our hands we would not rely on Transfer Factor alone to treat Cushings disease. Once we have a positive diagnosis of Cushings we would use Lysodren or other recognized treatment. In our hands Transfer Factor Immune Tabs offer great ancillary support. We would give one Transfer Factor Veterinary Immune Tab once daily. Dr. Jim
